Homo aqua is a fictional transhuman from the Netherlands, post flood.

The Netherlands lie under sea level. Dikes keep our lands dry and safe. But the sea level is rising and the dikes won't be able to hold forever. How would we adapt to a new life, under water?

The human body already has a way of adapting to water. The skin on the hands and feet turns wrinkly when it is in the water for a longer period of time. This is to get more grip. I used silicone to design different types of wrinkles to enhance this abillity.
